RHBC Monthly Meeting! Thusday March 6th!

The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be holding our third monthly meeting of 2014 on Thursday, March 6th at Bass Pro Shops in Garland. The meeting will be in the covered patio of the restaurant and starts at 7:00PM. Waitstaff will be ready for your orders.

We will again be taking memberships for the 2014 season. Club membership costs $30.00 and includes your immediate family (spouse, kids, parents, etc.) See our Secretary/Treasurer Jeff Cartwright when you arrive to sign up. He'll be the one with the line of people in front of him.

We will go over the launch/weigh in schedule for our second tournament of the year on Lake Bob Sandlin. We may have a possible ramp change so be there for the discussion. New members must be signed up prior to the tournament and we do not take memberships at the ramp so make sure you come to this meeting if you're planning to fish.

Also, remember to check the RHBC Partner Finder Thread posted in the club section. We have a lot of new members this year looking to form teams. This will provide an opportunity to get communications started.

Other items on the agenda include a recap of this weekends High School Championship on Lake Ray Hubbard. 2013 AOY and Big Bass awards will be handed out. We will be talking about our Open tournament coming up on Ray Hubbard on March 22nd. We will go over the sterling results from our Winnsboro tournament and the Club decision made on the payouts. We may also have a speaker from Bass Pro.

Don't forget to bring dusty unused new or gently used tackle for our tackle donation to the high school Clubs later this spring. We will also have RHBC hats for sale!

I switched my shift from Sat to Thursday. wont be at the meeting, but will be at the tourney. I will have my "one guest" for the year fishing with me. I don't trust my little boat yet, had to find a boater.

I put new line on a couple reels while I watched TV with a blanket over me and the heater going. That definitely counts!

My son asked me if there is a Rockwall highschool bass club. He would like to fish in the highschool bass tournaments. Any help would be great. Thanks.
