RHBC Cedar Creek Results and Pictures! - 05/20/12 09:35 PM

The Ray Hubbard Bass Club had our fifth tournament of 2012 Saturday May 12th at Cedar Creek Lake. The day started off perfect weather wise with clouds and light wind. Of course, heavy wind showed up before we were done. We had another solid turnout with 18 boats. Cedar Creek gave up some numbers for most, but the bigger fish were hard to find. Thanks to everyone that came out. Here are the full results.

SnakeEyes was notably absent at the scales because of back surgery, so the Club foolishly let the President weigh in the fish.

Howard and Kenny Bunch weighed 5 and always keep everyone laughing.

Jack and Fly Scheel had 4 solid fish this month.

Bonham champ Shawn Garber and wife Sherry weigh in their limit.

David Simmons and Jared Fish have had a very good year so far. Here's Jared weighing in their limit.

Jeremy McLeroy and Tim Clark with another solid finish.

With Jay out of commission this month, I fished with Jerry Brown. We proved to be a great team. Jerry caught the fish and I netted them perfectly.

Matt Jackson and Russel Olds hit the board in fourth place this month with 5 for 11.02. Here's Matt weighing in and Russell watching in the background left.

Ronnie Manning and Doug Rener fished this one together and had a solid third place finish with 5 for 11.19.

After a tough start to their morning with a flat tire on the way to the lake, Father and Son team Dennis and Damon Machost had a good day on the water. They weighed 5 fish for 14.02 and finished second.

Damon looked at home picking up the money. smile

Winning this month were long time RHBC veterans Vince Burt and Mark Werner. They had 5 fish for 14.39. This makes 4 out of 5 finishes in the top 5 for them this year including a win and a second. Congratulations guys!

Here's Vince with their 6.39 kicker fish.

If you're only going to catch one keeper on the day, you might as well make it big bass. That's what Bob Keller did. Bob was fishing with his partner the mighty Red Ranger himself Jack Lantrip. This fish weighed 7.28! Great fish!

Thanks to everyone that came out! Next month is Lake Tawakoni on June 9th with the meeting on June 7th. See you all there!
