I am very interested in joining this club... I am located in Tatum so I am looking for a local bass club to fish with! Can you post the rules and fees? I have checked the schedule already on the website.
If you would like to give me a call at 903-738-5524 i will be happy to answer any questions you might have. We don't have our club by-laws or tournament rules on our website. Our Yearly dues are $25 and tournament entry fees are $35 each angler.

all I am wondering is if its legal to fish your club in an air-cooled motor (mud motor)... its the only boat I have... I have a portable livewell, a fish has never died in it even during July.
I think it will be legal. I will check the rules this evening & get back to you tomorow.
Sorry i have not gotten back to you sooner. I apologize for that. There is no particular rule concerning your engine. Our rules do state that each boat must have a working livewell. i would think that your portable livewell would meet that requirement. Our next tournament is on Pirkey this weekend. Our meeting is at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3470 Gilmer Rd. at 6:15 this Thursday night. You would need to attend & be voted into the club, pay your dues($25 per angler),& your entry fee ($35 per angler) to fish with us this weekend. I know this is short notice, but i hope you can make it &come fish with us. Thank you for your interest in Sportsman Bass Club of Longview.
