Help with a bait color

Help with a bait color - 10/17/16 07:25 PM

I'm looking for a little advice on mixing a color that I cannot find pre-mixed. I'm trying to get a yellow chrome color. I have tried several times using a chrome then a yellow on top, but it looses its shine. It is the color that was the base coat on the "old" LC Copper Perch. Does anyone have a recipe for a color similar to this. Thanks in advance. Steve

Try a black base then Pearl Yellow...a transparent color over that might just get you where you want. Post a picture of the color and maybe we can figure it out. smile

That would be deadly on the Potomac River

I have tried doing this for a repeat customer and never did figure it out. I was just left with about 20 baits that have different shades of a yellow base coat.
