Help with a bait color - 10/17/16 07:25 PM
I'm looking for a little advice on mixing a color that I cannot find pre-mixed. I'm trying to get a yellow chrome color. I have tried several times using a chrome then a yellow on top, but it looses its shine. It is the color that was the base coat on the "old" LC Copper Perch. Does anyone have a recipe for a color similar to this. Thanks in advance. Steve

Try a black base then Pearl Yellow...a transparent color over that might just get you where you want. Post a picture of the color and maybe we can figure it out.

Thanks guys for the responses. This is the color I'm trying to get.
That would be deadly on the Potomac River
I have tried doing this for a repeat customer and never did figure it out. I was just left with about 20 baits that have different shades of a yellow base coat.
