Lead for DS weights

Thinking about buying the mold and melting pot to pour my own drop shot weights. Question for those that do this....where do you get your lead to melt?

Get my soft lead from the local scrap yard then flux it. Cheapest way to go

Scrap Yard or Bass Pro Shops. If you buy from the scrap yard make sure it is soft, clean and not been sitting in water. How much lead do you need? It is cheaper to buy drop shot weights, than to pour your own. If you have any questions you can PM me, and I will help you out.
