I know some of you guys are getting dry so we are expanding our advertising beyond just the DFW area.. We have 1500+ rolls of fertilized sudan/haygrazer for pick up at the farm in Red Oak. Rolls are 4’x5’, net wrapped with newer JD balers and there’s no charge for loading. The farm is right off I-35E and only minutes from 287 and I-20. The sudan/haygrazer is $85. farming is a tuff life; i was raised by a custom wheat harvester, cut wheat every summer all my life until i graduated from WSTU, bought 2 combines with my brother; lasted 4 years; i don't know how farmers make a living in this day and age; but i'm glad you are giving it the effort; what other crops do you raise? i really enjoyed the pictures; reminded me of baling small bales of alfalfa during the night so the weights / moisture was right; nickel a bale as i remember

You need to go up at least $15 per bale,input cost are out of sight,you will sale out pretty quick at that price point,hopefully we get some good rain soon and a warm October so a second cutting comes along.

Depending on the year, mostly row crops like wheat, corn, cotton, and occasionally milo.

I expect our winter prices will be in line with what you’re suggesting. Equipment costs have soared the past few years but thankfully fertilizer has come back down this year.
