Joe Pool Today

Decided this morning that we didnt have time to make the drive to Twok so we waited until this afternoon to hit JP. Just me and my oldest today. Checked a few spots and found some Taliban fish scattered on the humps in front of Lynn Creek. Taliban fish meaning they hit hard but run away fast. Click, save, repeat. Caught them fairly consistently for about an hour then went off to check a few other spots...found nothing worth talking about. Emerson wanted to swim so we jumped in for a bit. Ended a quick evening trip with about 15 keepers and a few unders. The unlucky ones made it to a warm sauté pan waiting at home. Nice evening!

I just wrote on your other post about memories. And so they begin. My best childhood memories involved fishing. Gene and I were at Tawakoni today. Gene said you were maybe fishing Tawakoni. See you hit Joe Poole.
