Canyon Lake Stiperfest! Huge School!

Biggest school of fish I've ever seen on Canyon Lake. 40ft of fish and they had no problem eating a spoon! Some even decided to show off and hit the surface for a min. Awesome day! I catch and release so not really sure how many total. Canyon has been on fire!

Nice! One of my buddies that comes up Dallas to fish w me lives on Stahl Ln at 46. Might have to drag my boat down to his house some day and hit Canyon!

Just bought new batteries for the boat this week.

Family reunion next weekend at Turkey Cove! Last year the school would surface and go down in a minute or two! We landed a few, lost a few...I love the way those things hit a top water!!

MONDAY'S SUX...but not this last Monday!! Stripers schooling on top and providing all of us a GREAT MORNING. After our family reunion we generally stay not to fight Sunday traffic back to Houston and we usually find some stripers to entertain us! From Jacobs creek-too the islands at comal park-too the dam. I expect the top water to get better as the water temps cool and the full moon goes away. But it's happening and worth keepin an eye out for it.
