Granbury 7-1 and 7-3!!

Two successful trip pics on Granbury. Lots of fun. first day we had to wait for the lightning to stop. Fish are schooling on the surface real early (right before sun up) and later they are caught on shad near Striper Alley. We sacked them up on the 4th as well on a catch and release trip and was off the water early (more pics to follow).

I did not book July 4th on purpose to take my two sons fishing. We caught over 20 stripers and were off the lake by 0830 to help Mom to get the house ready for the remaining family to show up. Here are a couple of pics. We went through over 40 shad in less than 2 hours right after the rain.....
