Haven't seen posts on Cooper lately. Just wondered if anyone is fishing it.

It's been too windy for me to get out in my little boat. I drive across the dam quite a bit and hardly ever see a boat on the lake. Fishing has been bad since it filled back up last year.

Tony Parker is about the only guide I have seen talking about fishing Cooper and I dont think he is even fishing it anymore since the fish kill of 2015. You might send him a message and ask his opinion. His website is easy to find. If you find out that Cooper has come back, let us all know. It used to be a lot of fun to fish 5 or so years back.

It use to be my favorite lake for hybrids. Fished there with Tony 2 years ago thinking we were just doing something wrong and couldnt find the fish.We caught like 4 sandies and no hybrids. But it is still a good blue cat lake.
