Sadly the lake is 100 feet below what it used to be. Maybe next spring the winter snow up north on the Rio Grande will help. Too much demand on this reservoir has depleted the water.

yes Sir any time with Dad is Great ... mine is gone but I rember those Days
What is that seat base mounted on your rod locker used for? Seems too close to the side for a seat. Also, the 1 at the front seems close to the edge of the boat.

Stratos, I'd love to answer your question, but the boat does not belong to me. It belongs to a friend of my father who took us out on the lake for the afternoon since my dads boat was out for repairs. Honestly, I didn't pay too much attention to the details of the boat considering I fish of a Yak here in south texas. We hooked on to some fish pretty quickly, and my dad, myself and his long time friend all had an incredible afternoon fishing.
Flexpress, I think about the day he won't be around, so I try to take advantage of every moment I can spend time with my dad.

Not sure what cost you 250.00 but I will tell you that the water level has not been up to it's original level for several years. NM is releasing. There is some serious concern in the area about the lake, the fishery, and the traffic. People from El Paso and surrounding areas still visit, but I can tell you, that while I was there, there is only one boat ramp open, and many people are launching their boats from the shore line.
