awesome hybrids lake Lewisville all over 20'

went out about a week ago and caught over 20 hybrids and they were all over 20 inches! i caught a 28 incher also. i looked up the record and the record was 26.75 inches and 12 lbs. My fish was 28 inches 11 lbs. do you have to beat the whole thing or just one?

Weight is what TPW Would be looking at. An 11 lbr would be the largest I've ever seen on LL. I saw a 10 caught this spring in a creek and it was jaw dropping for LL. We have caught several in the 8-9 range lately on live bait.

Do you happen to have a photo of said beast hybrid?

Lewisivlle has been giving up some big hybrids this year. 20 keepers is an awesome day.

I recently landed a small mouth buffalo approaching the 16 pound record while white bassing. I did not weigh it, so who knows.

yeah ive been fishing lewisville for 4 years now and just now figuring everything out.

nah i never go to ray roberts always lewisville and i go there almost everyday

Would love to see a pic of this fish. Biggest we've ever caught out on LL was around 8 lbs and 25". You'll need to provide pics and measurements for a lake record to the state.

Caught more than ten from below RR dam early spring. I think its close to 10# range. Next couple of years LL will be good fishing.

those are all some great fish. this year has been interesting. we have a ton of 1-2 yr old fish and then an age class of 2-4 yr old are not in the lake because we did not get stocked for a couple years when the hatcheries were battling golden algae. We do have some toad 5 plus yr olds though that have been a blast to catch this year. I think the fish are healthier this year than they have been in the past due to the high lake levels and baitfish survival rates.

About one limit a year. The first two were gut hooked so we made the call to save some for the fryer. The one in my hand went 8.81

Looks like Lewisville is back in the game. My local lake. This might persuade me not to drive 2hrs anymore. Need to hit this lake during the week. Anyone here knows if Lake Park opened? Don...his location appeared to be north of toll bridge.
