Cedar Creek guide report....Big hybrid action! - 06/30/16 12:55 PM
I've been running a few trips on Cedar Creek as well as taking friends and family out on evening runs. I haven't looked for many white bass but the hybrid action has been great! The fish seem to have backed out of the 12' to 16' structures with exception of early morning and late evening. I'm finding them stacked out in 23' to 26'. We use a little live bait when it gets really tough but just about all of our fish are coming off white swimbaits from Moes. Yesterday evening we sat on one of the largest schools of hybrids I've seen on Cedar Creek in a long time and it was quadruple hookups for over an hour. No hero dock shots because all trips have been catch and release lately, but I feel like we will be cleaning fish on the next couple. I feel a bit out of practice with the knife!
I have evening weekday trips available from 5 to dark for anyone interested with tomorrow evening open as well.
If you want to learn how to target hybrids on Cedar Creek give me a call!
