Almost a Tawakoni record!

I hadn't planned on posting this many fish this close together but this is one for the books, she weighed in at 19.02. Fish of a lifetime for the guy with me, and anyone that fishes Tawakoni! she gave an awesome show for us including coming up 30 yards from the boat like a bull red!

38" and 21" girth!!

Thank yall! It was one of those fish that after i had netted it was still not registering in my mind how big it actually was! I knew it was a 14lb class fish but after picking it up and then putting it on the scale it was a totally different story.

Yes it is, we ran tallman yesterday too and the water was a beautiful green color

unfortunately not, we did try and the boats around can vouche for it but she was too stressed. She would go belly up immediately, we tried for awhile

Good deal. Nice to hear That yall gave it a try. That lake is taking a beating this year. keeping what you need and release the rest is a bigger deal than ever out there I feel like. I've been fishing the lake for a short 16years and I've never seen the traffic and the numbers of fish being pulled out so high. Again awesome fish.

i understand completely, i grew on tawakoni and the boat traffic has doubled or even tripled IMO but its great for East Texas!! We need more people to come down and get some of the action
