Any books on how to catch hybrids? - 06/06/16 07:39 PM

I've looked online and can't really find much at all-there are books that cover stripers and might have a chapter or two on hybrids but haven't found anything that deals with just them.

YouTube should have a few videos on the subject.

Huh. Maybe I could write a book based of guide reports from the TFF ... might be a money-maker!

There are a few good books on the subject, but the problem is that when you order a book online and can't tell what's in it until you have already paid for it, some books are not as helpful as others.

There are a lot of good resources on here if you have some specific questions you want answered. Bunch of us guys around that will help all we can!

Time on the water and a good guide are the best teachers.
Tell your guide of choice exactly what you need/expect of/on the trip when you book it.

You can learn a lot reading posts from Chris Richardson and Charles Cox. They always mention how they caught fish, depths they were fishing and various techniques that are producing for them.

John Varner recently posted screenshots of fish on his depth finder. You can learn a lot of things right here.

I follow the 3 B plan myself.

Fastguy,
I should have more to report when these two boys of mine finish baseball season. Eats into my fishing time but I love every minute of it! Good to see you on the water last weekend.

The best fishing book I could find was:
One fish
Two fish
Red fish
Blue fish.
Black fish
Blue fish
Old fish
New fish.
This one has a little star.
This one has a little car.
Say! What a lot
Of fish there are.
Yes. Some are red. And some are blue.
Some are old. And some are new.
Some are sad.
And some are glad.
And some are very, very bad.
Why are they
Sad and glad and bad?
I do not know.
Go ask your dad.
Some are thin.
And some are fat.
The fat one has
A yellow hat.
From there to here, from here to there,
Funny things
Are everywhere.
Here are some
Who like to run.
They run for fun
In the hot, hot sun.
Oh me! Oh my!
Oh me! Oh my!
What a lot
Of funny things go by.
Some have two feet
And some have four.
Some have six feet
And some have more.
Where do they come from? I can’t say.
But I bet they have come a long, long way.
We see them come.
We see them go.
Some are fast.
And some are slow.
Some are high
And some are low.
Not one of them
Is like another.
Don’t ask us why.
Go ask your mother.
