Stripers fishing from a jet ski? - 02/06/16 08:44 PM

I remember Dr Heart used to post some hybrids pics from his jetski awhile back, haven't seen many posts on jetski fishing, is it practical?

Yep I am still riding and catching fatties. Have to wear a wet suit this time of year. When I am not sleeping on the front of the boat in the sun like an old dog.

Thanks Dr Hart for the reply. The wet suit is definitely a good in cold months. I'm offered a good deal on a used jet ski and want to jump on it, just want to hear some inputs from those who wish to share their experiences. thumb

I've seen people fishing for stripers from jet skis at Texoma quite a few times.

I dunno about 'practical', but it does look fun. And it makes you pick out only the gear you really need because of limited storage space.

+1 on wetsuit (or drysuit I guess). Also a good lifejacket, pop-up signal flares in your pocket, and other safety gear.
