Hybrids on Lake Lewisville or Lake Grapevine shores? - 11/19/15 04:04 AM

Does anyone know where to catch hybrids on Lake Lewisville or on Lake Grapevine with lures? Keep in mind, we're talking about the shore.

keeper size (18" or longer) hybrids can be hard to find at lewisville right now. I fish from a boat and have caught a few good ones the past few weeks but most of them have been small 10"-12" hybrids with some sand bass mixed in. they are hard to tell apart sometimes so be careful when keeping them. check texas parks and wildlife website for how to indentify hybrids and sand bass (white bass). If I were to fish from the bank i would go to lake park area and fish the eastern shore. you can pull your vehicle up on the shore there and dont have to walk far. there are a few people fishing there so you cant miss it.

There are no hybrids on Lake Grapevine. Only at Lewisville. I haven't been to Lewisville for 2 years now but read encouraging reports on them. I used to fish at West Lake Park west side of the boat ramp and you can catch hybrids off the shore.
