Operation Welcome Home!! This Saturday (21 November) is the day we take the soldiers out fishing on Lake Texoma. Jerry Dorsey just called and said we are 5 boats short of having enough. Thomas Powell just signed on so we are four boats short. Please contact Jerry Dorsey via FB or give him a call at 903-786-3981 to help out! We have 75 soldiers we will be taking out! Thanks!!

I'm going out today and tomorrow and fishing slabs. That's been working well for me. Surfacing fish have been around but very inconsistent.

I'm going to catch some bait Friday and see if that's working ( as a back up plan).

I'll let you know.

I've been doing "ok" in water 22 to 30 feet deep. Fish have been hitting 1 and 1.5 ounce slabs when they seem to NOT want bait. There is SO much bait in Texoma right now. It is not uncommon to be in 40 feet of water and have your sonar show a 10 foot depth!
