My wife Radene passed away today due to breathing complications. I know many of you prayed for her last spring when she nearly died of pneumonia. I thought you would want to know - she is now with our Lord in whom she trusted her life to many years ago. Please pray for my family and me over the coming days as we adjust to her absence. But, thanks be to God, we will see her again when we join her someday! Thanks! Dennis

Dennis, I'm so sorry for your loss, and my prayers go to you for peace and tranquility. I too lost my wife of 50 years to COPD. She was on oxygen full time for about 10 years. Like your wife, she insisted I fish three or four times a week---and I did! She also was my bass fishing partner for several years.
I hope you will keep fishing a bunch. I did. Fishing by myself a lot, I can and do enjoy the memories.
May you continue to enjoy your life.

Most of all it was worth it to God to create each life, her life, our lives even though He foresaw the need to rescue us from our sins, and that rescue effort would cause Him much pain and suffering at Calvary’s cross – yet He went ahead and created us anyway.

That is a beautiful poem remembering your wife. I am praying for you and your family and I have no idea the pain you're going through. I do know things will never be the same, but always in life change happens.
