Possum kingdom. Lake or the river below it? - 09/06/15 10:35 PM

My dad and I are going to possum kingdom this upcoming weekend, and we can't decide if we should take the boat and fish the lake for crappie and whites, or try and fish the river from the kayaks for catfish and striper!

Personally I want to try and fish the river because I've never done it before, but I also want to go catch fish lol

It's a pain but put kayaks in the river and net shad and tail hook them and hold on!

If you have never kayaked, go to the river it is fishing better than most years because of the flow. You won't be disappointed. The lake is still tough...
