Going to be on the water about 9 AM this morning. Stop by and say hello. The whites have been biting well in the southern part of the northwest corner abut a 1/2 mile out from the old dam in 19 feet of water. Crappie jigs fished near the bottom will work well if the wind is low. Otherwise they can not resist a small slab. May post a picture or two later if we have any luck.
Don, thanks for the tip brother. Best of luck today!! My 11 year old son and I will be on the water this weekend. First time out in 4EVER seems like. We're looking for sandies, crappie, striper.
When you say 1/2 mile out from the old dam, you're talking about north of the old dam, right? Norht or south of the lake toll bridge? Thanks again. Sounds like a lot of fish hitting in 15ish feet of water or so.
Don good luck. Let us know how you do. I'm thinking of going there sometime next week.

Have fun. I caught the biggest hybrid I have ever caught out there on Wednesday evening.

I'll be out there tomorrow. Know exactly where you are talking about, been doing well there for the last few trips.
They had moved on and were not in that spot. It was east of the old dam in the new lake. Found them on a slope from 12-20 feet and we were able to land a two man limit in a couple of hours. Took some photos, but this is the only one view-able. Next time I am bringing the camera. The phone camera was difficult to see in the bright sun light.

Nice Don ~ good to see a report from you !
Yes, it is good to be back out on LL. Both of the Lake Park ramps are open now. Things are almost back to normal.

Don, it was great seeing you out there last weekend. My wife and i fished monday afternoon and found them in whole new spots from where we've been fishing. I think because of a north wind. Heading out in the morning. Shoot me a text.
