BLT Striper Challenge kicks off season on August 23 with the first "Open" tournament

The BLT Striper Challenge will kick off the second season on August 23 at Lake Texoma.

The 2015 schedule is as follows:

* August 23 Texoma - Highport Marina
* October 3 Texoma - Highport Marina
* November 7 Texoma - Highport Marina
* December 12 Texoma - Highport Marina

* The entry fee is $200 per team
* No membership is required
* The cash payout will be 1 per 5 teams over 15 teams(two places between 5 to 10 teams, 3 places between 11 to 14 teams)
* Up to 6 members per team
* Guides may fish
* Two largest fish per team may be weighed in.
* Trailering allowed
* Start, stop and weigh in times are posted on the website located at www.usafishingtrails.com

Note: The August 23 tournament is not shown on the website yet but we will be at Highport by 5am on the day of the tournament to register teams. Teams may register early by mail or on line off our website.

These tournaments are pretty fun to fish! Not too many tournaments allow 6 man teams per boat makes for a fun day!

I believe I will try to fish some of these this year. They look like fun.

We will look forward to seeing you there. The tournaments are designed to be fun and laid back while fishing with your friends.
