Bridgeport or Whitney tomorrow?

Going to one of these lakes tomorrow. Bridgeport is 30 minutes away, Whitney is an hour and a half. Never caught stripers before but would be tough to get there near sun up.

Whitney was tough for me today
Top water action but they wouldn't bite anything I threw at them
Shad were easy to come by right by the boat ramp at loafers east but they didn't want that either
3 sand bass for the day and countless baby black bass, it was crazy

Did you target stripers at all?

I did but I suck so don't look at it as a bad fishin report just bad fishin
