Benbrook lately....

Anybody been out lately? I was out there about 3 weeks ago and the water was up almost 15 feet. Didn't have much luck, either

Now I heard the lake has fallen quickly, to around 7 foot high. Is this true? What effect do ya'll think this drop will have on sandy/hybrid fishing out there?

Lake is now 5.77 over and falling fast. Hybrids are easy to find but harder to catch. They have had lockjaw for the last week or so. Best bet is live bait [ gizzard shad] and find the points in 26 to 28' of water with deep water close by. Good Luck!
Sand bass still in and around bubbles.

Spent 6 hours on it this morning
Tried everything slabs, jigs, trolling hell pets
Pulled out all the stops and covered a lot of water
1 fish for the day. She can be tough at times

Fished it 4 weeks ago with live bait and caught tons of fish. Whites and Hybrids. Went back the next weekend and fished with 3 guides on the boat and caught 1 catfish. Went back the next weekend with Grandson and caught 1 nice Hybrid and 3 sandbass. Fish seemed to have turned off since they started pumping water out. Marked lots of fish in the right places, had good bait, just wouldn't bite.
