Son is at church camp so my Wife and I went to Hubbard for the evening. Launched at Terry park and headed out. Looked at a few spots but did not mark much. Looked at some humps and marked quite a few so I put down my new I pilot and started slabbing. Wife was sending a text and I caught 3 before she got a line in the water. We had a blast! nothing of any size but consistently catching Sandies and Yellows. Ended up with 51 on the clicker.
This was the first time I got to use my I pilot. That was so awesome to just be able to fish and not have to fight the wind as it was blowing 15. No way I could have stayed on top of these fish with my old trolling motor, fishing and taking off her fish too. Glad I pulled the trigger.
