Corpus Christi lake sand bass

I visited the lake last weekend - big lake, windy with big waves. Was hoping to find any previous posts on here in how to hunt for sandies on this lake. Could not find any. I would be thankfull if someone can give some pointers on which part of the lake to go. I put in at the state park but this lake is big with all the recent water i can not even guess which area to try.
