Going to Hubbard on Sunday

Going to Lake Ray Hubbard on Fathers Day the Lad and Dad thing. Looking to catch a few sandies to smell like a fish on the way home. Any reports happening by boat? Thanks in advance!

Friday night, the only action I saw was at the excavation site / gravel pits down by the Dam on the east corner. I couldn't get anything on artificial but I saw a boat using live bait catch at least a dozen large sandies / hybrids.

It's been tough fishing. I found a few Friday on the levees.

Caught 3 Friday evening shallow...did not mark any.

Only fished for 2 hrs this morning. Got out there at sunup and had lots of small 7-10 inch whites schooling shallow. That only lasted 20 mins or so. Tried one more hump before I had to head in and this beast decided to join the party. Not the whites or hybrids I was slabbin for but one fun fight.

Was out there this am, only really managed to catch any trolling. Gonna try to get back out in the am. I haven't had any luck getting on fish last few trips.
