RHSA hybrid stocking PICTURES AND ROCKING VIDEO June 11, 2015.

Lots of work behind the scenes for yours Truly, but finally nailed a date among all parties! Please come out and witness/celebrate/welcome the 45k strong fingerlings baby hybrids delivery #2 and be a part of the historic event!

The babies delivery room I mean ramp will be John Paul Jones Park ramp, across Highway 30 from BPS. The tank truck should arrive about noon like last time.

The 45k fingerlings we stocked back in July 2013 are 17 inchers now, and we/I have been catching tons of them! RHSA simply works on a heavy pressured city lake, Amen!

I will take a day off to assist with stocking and sign off on the state stocking permit paperworks

We raised 97% of the money needed. Please support our next event to get us over the top and some change for the 3rd stocking

Thank you Todd! They say it takes a Village to raise a child. Same thing applies to baby hybrids. We have a great group of volunteers that make this happen. It sure doesn't happen by itself. I'm proud to be a part of it all. Thanks for all of your work. Finally I will be at my family reunion that week so tell the children hello from Uncle Frank as you release them!

What? Wish I can pick a date where everyone can come. But then the Fish Farm will say the babies are not ready, and TPWD will say we're doing a study on lake X, etc etc. It's tuff! But will brand on the little hibbies some "F", some "P", and "Y" for Frank, Pat, and Yaffe.

Just a friendly reminder the stocking is noon this Thursday at chaha/bass pro/ John Paul Jones ramp. 3 names but da same ramp. The stocking would go faster if we have more helpers, transferring the fingerling from the truck tanks to the TPWD boat using 5 gal buckets. It took about 2 hrs the last time with about 10 guys and gals and a lotta fun. Remember to bring water. We will stock 45k hybrid fingerlings. Will ask the lake Biologist what the state stocks for Hubbard this year.

I can be there to help around noon . Lol it will be a good workout transferring 5 gal buckets full of water and fish

I believe the TPWD or Keo Fish Farms from Little Rock AR got the buckets, but I will bring extra just in case. They will call me when they arrive. The tank truck will intake the lakes water first to get the imported fingerlings acclimated to Texas before transferring the fish by the buckets to TPWD boat to be released in our lake. The truck has eight 400-gal tanks.

JV will take off work and join us. I got the rhsa check book and I will sign off the stocking permit afterward.

There were 48,357 young hybrids per the delivery man.

Thank everyone for your support for the future betterment of Ray Hubbard fisheries. We had a fantastic day yesterday. Everyone was timely, happy, two boats and good number of helpers of all ages, we started at 12 noon and completed the stocking of our healthy babies by 2pm.

We said to our 48k+ fingerlings "we'll catch ya later" as they happily swam off to their new day care

That was a WHOLE lotta fun! It was also a great experience. I was holding thousands of hybrids in my hand! I can't say that has ever happened before! The RHSA is an awesome group with an awesome agenda! I am glad to be a part of it!

Thank you JV for the making the awesome video. Thanks Dusty Dooley for unexpectedly offering his boat and time to make the stocking time double fast. Dusty told me he "fishes this lake too and want to do his part." Now that's just perfect saying!

Also, thank you Kiff and Brenda Hardin for donating 200 hibbies toward our 3rd stocking. RHSA was established August 2012. In less than 3 years we accomplished 2 good stockings on Hubbard. Now that's truely amazing. We should be proud Fisher folks!

Was out of town on vacation but was following the text updates! So proud to be a part of such a great group of people. This is sportsmanship in action. This is also the culmination of a lot of hard work. All that are involved or helped give yourselves a pat on the back. You deserve it!
