Short Run on Lewisville Today

Ran out there with ChuckM for a bit, ended up catching some shad and catching a couple of hybrids. The lake is very high, to the point we were throwing the cast net in someone's yard. 24' boat in 1.5 feet of water with a swing set about 10 yards from us. Just funny. There was a guy sitting on a bench just watching us and waiving.

Ran the Ulterra with no problems and Chuck got a view of the Panoptix and the Garmin gear.

That's a successful trip for Lewisville. Glad you got to go.

We launched at Hidden Cove but for what I hear the lake just went up a bunch. Was going to try to go again tomorrow morning but we might not have a ramp.

How's the Garmen working out?

One is shutting down every hour. Spoke with Garmin and they are sending me a new one. The cool thing about these units is they have an "event log" which records every warning, problem, etc. So I was able to see what it was doing, check the log and then tell Garmin. Other than that, they are the most powerful and easy to use units I've ever had.
