Just wondering if anyone has been out on the lake for sandbass or hybrids?
I'll have some time to get some fishing in this Friday and was wondering about the conditions, water and fishing?

My dad went out there last 2 weeks and the water was like chocolate. He caught a few small cats. No sandie or hybrid. Boat ramps at Doctors Creek and Tira are useable. Sorry that's the latest report I've got. I'm sure the water cleared up some since then. Good luck and let us know how you do.

I'm sure we have missed the uncanny shallow bite of hybrids at Cooper, but I agree: I cannot wait to get out on Cooper...Just waitng for any good news. Has anyone talked to Tony Parker?

It didn't go well for me this past weekend. Lake was pretty churned up from all the rain. Did see some on the depth-finder but could get them to bite on what we were dropping. Sometimes it just isn't your day.

When Cooper is muddy.......Good Luck! Only thing that works is cut bait. Cooper will be game on in May!

It was still muddy yesterday. Caught 3 hybrids 2 shorts 1 about 22 in. On cut bait cat fishing there spread out just like the catfish due to all the fresh water.

Cooper should be full with all the rain coming. Mike bring some extras, I bet that dog will hunt
