***Log The Date! RHSA Fundraiser Breakfast: Saturday 05/02/15***

We nailed down a date of May 2nd for the next RHSA (Ray Hubbard Sportsmen's Association) fundraiser breakfast. The location will be at the end of B-Dock at Harbor Bay Marina. I have a party dock there so we will meet there again like we did the last breakfast. We are asking for a suggested donation of $20. All proceeds will go to our hybrid-striper fund. We will have some raffles to keep it interesting. Please PM me with an RSVP and total headcount. We really need a firm headcount so we don't over buy on the food. Like the last time if anyone wants to donate eggs, bacon, orange juice, milk etc please let me know in a PM. Breakfast will be served around 8AM. That way everyone can get out fishing afterwards. We will also have an update from Todd on where we stand to date with the fundraising. Todd will give a financials update. This should be a great start to the day. This is for a worthy cause and we want to get over the finish line on the fund raising. Hope to see you there! Will bump this note a couple times between now and May 2nd. Big shout out to Jeff Yaffe whose company is helping again by donating eggs and bacon!Come meet some old friends and come make some new friends. What exactly are you raising money for? How will my donation help the fishing on Ray Hubbard? Are you buying fish to be stocked or is this an awareness campaign?

Look at our web site RHSA and you will learn all about our great group. Yes we stock the lake with Hybrids. In 2013 we put 45,000 into the lake and have a stocking schedules this year.

Hey Nate this is a very cool group of fishermen that got together to make there fishing hole better! Actually we were inspired by the great guys and gals from Tawokoni that formed the LTSA (Lake Tawokoni Sportsman Association) which boosted the fishery there BIG time. If it worked there it will work here! And it is Like Mr Filletmaker Pat said 'click on the webpage' and check out the stocking video at least. Most all of the Hubbard guys help support the LTSA as well ...... Come join us and see what's up! It's all about having a good relationship on and off the water which we all love so much 'WATER' oh and the state still does there part as well as for as stocking. We just BOOST it up!!

Thanks for all the notes and for the guys answering the questions! I've been also answering some PM's. We will have a good time for a good cause. Never worked with a better group of guys than the RHSA crew. All volunteer of course and everyone makes a contribution- and not just a financial one! Pat may have some good news to share soon on a large box donor. I won't steal that thunder! Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I will be at the breakfast. I am so appreciative of the folks in the RHSA. When I first moved here and did not know anyone, had my boat in storage, was living in temporary housing, guys in the RHSA invited me fishing. ChampionFish, SeaPro-Todd and others took me out and introduced me to Texas sand bass and hybrids, and taught me how to fish here. You guys in the RHSA are great and I will never forget your kindness.

Great times at breakfast! Good seeing all the ray Hubbard gang. Big thx to frank Kathy Todd terry and the numerous others who made this all happen. Aniston had a blast and looks forward to fiahing with max some day! Good seeing mark out on the water later. I didn't kill them today but found a few good fish.

Moe thanks for the support! Some went fishing after and some held down the fort at the party dock! I won't say which ones were at the dock but we just left at 6:30 and that's PM! What a great day. Pictures will posted by Todd tomorrow. Thanks you everyone for participating. It was a big success!

I didn't find any Hybrids today but I did find quite a few Sandies. Actually they found me. Caught a good portion of them on a Texas rig while Bass fishing. At least I get a unexpected fish fry tomorrow now.

Todd as usual great report and great pictures! That picture of Max watching Barry draw a ticket is a classic! I think Max drew the next ticket after that. Thank you to everyone that volunteered, showed up, and donated. To me it's more about the fellowship than anything else. Just love seeing kids attend also. They are our future and they learn through our examples like yesterday. It's a mad dash doing these events than afterwards you sit back and thank God that everything came off without a hitch. We are all so blessed. I don't take one day for granted. Finally- Several of us sat at the dock and laughed all day yesterday. Boy was that ever needed. Just to sit with good friends and laugh all day is a great stress reliever. I still think Moe missed his calling. He's a comedian at heart! Again thank you all for supporting a great cause and building a great fishery. Everyone played a role and everyone helped. That's what life is all about...

Thank you, Jerry! We raised 8,007.44 before the breakfast. We raised 1,709.00 for the breakfast. So we are very close to our goal of $10k for our second stocking this June.

By the way the photos of the pancakes stacked on table was after the breakfast. Terry and Moe had a stacking contest with the leftover pancakes. We then had a pancake throwing contest (Kind of like a cow chip one but on water) to the ducks! We nailed a couple of the kids also but that was by accident! Wink-wink....
