Lake Granbury Hot Water Discharge

Has anyone fished the power plant hot water discharge at lake Granbury lately? Have they been discharging lately? Last few years this generating was undependable. Used to could go on coldest days and net all the bait and catch all the Stripers/sandies you wanted right at the discharge canel.

It was running about three months ago. I have been by there a few times in the last few months and it was not running. If I recall, the last few years, it only ran for a month or two during mid to late summer and that's it. Sorry I can't be more specific. Maybe someone can give more specific dates.

PS. Three weeks ago you did not have to go to the outlet to catch all the huge sandies and some striper you wanted. We were catching them with slabs on the bottom closer to the south end of the lake. Have not fished for them since though.
