Whitney Striper Bite during Flood?

I know Whitney is crazy high right now...something like 16' over...is there any point in chasing stripers during the flood or are they so spread out that it's a fool's errand? Just curious what folks are finding down there. Thanks.

Check out Pat Small's web site and look at photo's. He is catching lots of limits on Whitney right now.

Whitney's hot right now. Live bait or cut bait. I'm using cut Gizzard shad up relatively shallow and catching some really good fish. You can launch at Incle Gus' for 10.00 and they have golf carts to take to and from truck to boat.

Any ramps other than Gus' open?

You can launch for free at lakeside village ramp at the end of FM 927. The ramp is flooded but you can launch from the road. I launched a 22' center console with no problems.
