Kind of a Wierd Week on Richland Chambers!!! - 07/14/18 11:29 PM
I fished all but Thursday and Adam got three trips in this week so we were out on the nice breezy and cloudy days early week and the Bluebird Sky days late week. Had really good Top Water action on the Flats on Monday and the most AWESOME TOP WATER SCHOOLS I've seen in several years on Wednesday as we stayed on fish from East of Pelican Island all the way to the West Shoreline near the Long Arm Branch. Literally an estimated 20 acres of fish up from 7:30AM to 10:30 AM and only 3 or 4 boats fishing them. Haven't seen a Top Water school that stayed up since then! 
Friday & Saturday the Main Lake got busy and Adam and I made our way up the Creeks to fish Points and Humps and did well with lots of action and nice boxes of fish! You could tell it was going to get crazy on the Main Lake this Weekend as all the Artificial Lure folks were surrounding the Live Bait Guides who were fishing for Hybrids. The Live Bait Guides are doing well but it only frustrates the folks watching them! 
Top water bites came on anything small and shiny and all our Creek fish came on RSR Silver Slabs. Best Water depths ranged from 10'-20' on the Points and Humps. Best yet is that two of my trips this week were "Catch & Release" & two others only kept enough for a Fish Fry. Sure is nice not to have to clean a lot of fish in this heat! 
Adam has an OPENING ON MONDAY due to a cancel and I'm OPEN ON THURSDAY if anyone wants to fish RC. Here's a few Pics from this past week:
