The fishing has been about as good as it gets lately. We are catching large numbers of sand bass as well as hybrids. Fishing is best on main lake humps and points in the 22-31 FOW mark. We are catching on live bait, slabs, giant flutter spoons, as well as 4" sassy shad in chartreuse color. The birds really have not been doing much since its ben so sunny but on cloudy days like this you can find them working schools of fish in shallow water. Still cleaning fish with eggs in them. Kind of odd for this late in the year. Let me know if you want to go fishing. School is almost out and this is a great way to entertain the kids. I have discounted rates for kids under 13.

Also, for those of you who do not know, there is a sand bass and hybrid tournament next Saturday morning out of lake park. Registration is from 7-8 and you need to be in line for the weigh in no later than 12pm. There is a sticky at the top of the whites/striper section with more information. It should be great fishing. Remember that it is 4 people max per boat. Not four fisherman and a driver. Feel free to call or text if you have any questions.
