The bite was on early. You had to stay in contact with the ground and gently pop the jig and prepare for a hit on the way down. Miss that bite and you miss that fish. Caught a couple of big hybrids and a bunch of smaller ones before my trolling motor (that I forgot to charge) couldn’t keep me on my spot. Found some shallow water points holding fish out of the wind and wore them out till I got tired of it. Two at a time was definitely the norm today and why I tie on 17lb fluoro.

It was also the day I left my phone on the kitchen counter. What can I say? Some days you just gotta go fishing

Had my phone today. Two at a time was normal again but this was as big as I could get in the boat.

Notaguide, u ever have trouble keeping two fish on with such a long tag line ?

I’ve had 20 lb fluoro break only twice on me. Both times it was because of two huge fish going in different directions
