Tawakoni Spillway?

Morning Anglers, just curious if anyone tried fishing the spillway from the shore. Anyone here heard any reports? Hybrids and sandies biting? Thinking about heading out there this Saturday to check it out since the main lake is slow. Thank you everyone.

Gotta spill the beans,We poh' fisherman don't have boats or the luxury of hiring guide services,Just fishing to eat.The Hybrids n stripers are on Fire at Tawakoni dam.Just got back.Limited out on stripers,few hybrids here n there.Fish being caught every along the river. I used 5" flukes(any color) n 1/2 oz.jig head.Lots of people,but just find spot to throw lure in.Hope this helps any one wanting to catch hybrid or stripers from the bank.This will be your 1 and only chance for easy fishing for awhile.Good Luck!!

Went there two days didn't get a bite.🐲 between ten people,i seen 1 fish being caught... I probably don't know what the hell I'm doing out there

I know what I'm doing and was there yesterday, one fish caught and about 10-12 people. Water is still rushing over spillway, give a week or two.

Well it didn't have much action at all in fact. Didn't see anyone caught fish. I'll wait a week or two and try again. But again I might have the urge to go tomorrow.
