1/23/18 Lewisville

Caught em like this till around 3. Nothing huge but was a fun day. Boated around 20 or so like this and the rest were 2-4 lbs. Dipping the tails is still key to getting the strikes.

What dip are you using if you don't mind sharing.

Can’t remember brand but it is chartreuse/ garlic. I use the bottle and spray form.

It’s wild to be in 45 foot water and all of the sudden your depth finder reads like you’re in 30 foot of water because of the amount of bait and fish on the bottom

Heck yeah man. Deadsticking can be awful boring until they decide to play.. Thats a great looking fish.

What is the set up for deadsticking on Lewisville? Don’t think a sandbass could get my deadstick lure in its mouth...the one I use on twak or Tex.

The shad on Lewisville are small now - about 1" long. Deadsticking small slab/jig combos or smaller sassys and bass assasins has been working pretty well lately.

Great job. I haven't been able to catch a thing at Lewisville this year. I marked nothing but bait under the birds on Sunday. Ended up going home with 2 crappie. Not even what I wanted.
