Cedar Creek this Weekend-1/19-21 - 01/22/18 12:37 AM
Friday afternoon I had the chance to get out for the 3:30-5:00pm period and hit em pretty good. Got into a nice thump and the fish were active. Caught 12-15 Hybrids and one white bass. All in 40-46ft and thumping with the Bobo Thumper. It really does work! Fish are coming up into 18-24 ft to find the bait so that is where we are fishing them. Saturday we headed out and fished all day and ended up with 15 Hybrids and 20 white bass. The bite on both saturday and sunday was very finicky to say the least. We stayed with it and persevered and felt good about how many we did catch for the conditions we were faced with on Saturday. Fog and mist until noon and then it cleared up completely out there. Sunday morning short trip from 8-11 we were fishing the same depths and caught 6 hybrids and 12 whites. Not one of the Hybrids we caught all weekend were over 21 inches. Lots of smaller hybrids in the lake right now. We are releasing everything immediately upon taking photos.
