What would be your choice of lake? On a rainy day?

I don't get to get out much. Tomorrow is the only day I have free so I'm going to try to fish. With my boat. So...... If you had a choice of lakes tomorrow where would you go and how would you fish the lake. I could use any suggestions, hints, clues, or reasonable proximities to help me on my wet journey. Lol! And everyone have a Merry Christmas!!! Thanks in advance!

Dress well and hit Tawakoni or Texoma for sure for me. No question there. We are showing 100% rain at Tawakoni tomorrow I am going back out Wed.

There is no way no how I was getting out in this today! Yuck! Tomorrow it is! Thinking Tawakoni. Deadsticking is what we need to do? I have center console all camo boat with a bait well built in. Should I net shad or just dead stick as well? Any advise on lures would be awesome. I bought sassy shad with 1/4 oz jighead and also slabs. I am bringing my catfish gear too and maybe try to drift one up? Thoughts?

I will be using 1 1-/2 to 2 oz jig heads 5" flukes

I've never fished Whitney before whats it like and whats the best species to go after? Headed camping there soon so i am starting my research now.

I haven't been to Whitney this year yet. We are headed to Texoma tomorrow morning. Ill let yall know how we did.
