Re: Hurricane Harvey Rain Totals! - 08/27/17 02:29 AM

As of 9:30PM Saturday we have exactly 1.6 inches at my house. North central San Antonio.

I've been watching the radar all day. We are right on the edge of the rotating
bands of rain circulating Harvey. The storm is just a bit to far east for us to
get much rain. If it drifts westward, we may get more. It's been a slow drip all day. All soaked in.

We dodged a bullet here in San Antonio. Weatherman stated we were on the good side of Hurricane Harvey and that if the storm had settled a little more west of San Antonio we would have gotten 20 plus inches. As it stands now I have gotten just over an inch of rain in my gauge. Northeast San Antonio.

Thank you sir- We are requesting that all pray for all the displaced evacuees, those still stranded and seeking rescue, those in harm's way with the releasing of reservoirs. lakes, which in turn then effect the already overflowing water ways.
I am so thankful, that almost all folks have come together for their fellow man, woman and child regardless of ethnicity and religion.
My prayers are that this brotherhood feeling will continue and not go by the wayside until the next crisis. flag
