popcorn2 that's a can of worms right there. I like my St Croix Panfish Series rod. I have a 6'9" ULF and the 7'LXF and love them both.

I'm a guy who shops bargains from Dicks, BassPro, Academy and Cabelas. Last year Academy had a steal on Copper River rods for $15. Bought four and Jos and I fell in love with them. When the deal came back earlier this year I bought a dozen more in various weight and length.... Yeah, I know that's a lot, but we have plans for the dozens of setups we have stored. wink

Love the Bass Pro UL series rods. Great value and handle well.

Side Note: When fishing for sunfish I am using the flyrod a lot more.

Got to love it. Nothing beats an Ugly Stick.

I have sunfish rods of different lengths, but like my 5' UL best. Happens to be a Quantum Tribute XTS501ULW that I was lucky to hang and pull up from the bottom of the lake. Would recommend it without any reservation. There are, of course, other brands, but I especially favor a 5' length.

No old school fisherfolks on TFF? Cane pole of course. Hand dug worms (if the EPA ain't watching).

Modern old school, 12' telescoping tenkara rod, can use flies or worms.
