Awesome Fish and a Trophy for sure! cheers Good job! thumb

Side Note: If you got a picture of the fishes length, along with the one of you holding the fish providing you released the fish you could apply for the Lake Fork Catch&Release Record Bluegill. Either way still a GREAT FISH! coolio

The current Fork record Bluegill is a weight record only. Parks&Wildlife also have the Catch&Release Records. Minimum length for a Bluegill to qualify is 10". Fork does not have a Catch&Release Record Bluegill. There is a length chart on the Parks&Wildlife web site showing the minimum lengths of the different species of fish that qualify for Catch&Release records. thumb

Used to catch em that big a lot at Fork. I would go with my wife's granddaddy and nothing for us to catch 150 or 200 in a trip. He called them "knee bream" because he would have to lay them on his knee to get the hook out. So congrats on your knee bream sir.
