A few for Dinner!

A few for Dinner! - 11/16/15 03:15 AM

Fish are still very active in area water bodies! Caught a few for dinner the other day. Fish are holding in water 4 to 6 feet deep next to overhanging tree limbs and docks. Worms was the bait of choice. Fish were caught using both float and bottom techniques with ultra light tackle. Fished from 9am till 1pm and caught about 50 fish. Kept 10. Catching a few nice sunnies for dinner on a local water body. It just don't get any better! fish

Thanks guys for the replies! cheers Also nice fish "Chiprat" . thumb "WillieRip": When I caught these they were in shallow water holding by structure such as docks and trees. Now that this cold front has passed through they have moved to deeper water 10 to 15 feet and are holding by ledges and drop offs. When fishing in shallow water I simply Texas Rig a half of a night crawler and bounce it off of the bottom. I pitch the worm at spots that look good. hooked

Thank you for the reply! cheers YouTube has plenty of very good videos you can watch on cleaning and cooking Bluegill. Google cleaning Bluegill and you will find some great information. As for me I clean my Bluegill by scaling em,gutting em,and then cutting the heads offs. I have friends who fillet them. There are many ways to cook them. As for me I love frying them. Fresh Bluegill are very hard to beat!.

East side bite has slowed down a bit after this last rain! Water is very muddy! Will try it sometime during the holidays.
