Black Warrior River in west-central Alabama. They call this section Holt Lake.

Nice video !

Drop shot with larvae is a technique that has paid off big time for me in my perch fishing.

I've just used maggots but I'm going to try the black soldier fly larvae next.

I usually use lures on the sunfish. When I use artificial it's gulp alive products on a drop shot rig. Enjoyed the video. Got some good pointers. Thanks for sharing. woot

Never tried Gulp Alive! How do they work?

Thanks for the video Willie. I use gulp and gulp alive products most of the time for bream and crappie. I have real good luck with the maggots, earthworms and nibbles. I drift weed lines and dams for gills using drop shot and split shot rig.
