Dunlap 9/25/18

Finally made it back to Dunlap today.(Daybreak to 12:30) Water temp 78 degrees & clarity was pretty good. Ended up with 2 nice Rios, 4 catfish (all around 2 lbs) 1 Guadalupe bass, 2 largemouth (small), and maybe 25 sunnies (mostly small redbreast). Tried the 1st 2 hours for big red ear in the favorite spots from last year with no luck. Also, WAY MORE boats & jet skis on the water than I anticipated. Probably head back to Fayette next week since I have a cove named after me now

Nothing to report lately work too much and a new baby girl.. fished mcqeeny yesterday and caught a nice Rio and some small bluegill hope to do more fishing this month

Nice post Vogey. The bite has really slowed down on Dunlap the past couple of weeks. The Mcqueeney bite has picked up. Lake level is still low on Mcqueeney due to the dam repair.

As always nice post and fish. I have also been catching some nice Rios on Dunlap! Fall should be a super bite for big fish.
