Weekly Fishing Report! 1-26-18 ! - 01/26/18 01:36 PM
Continued hitting the trout run on the Guadalupe River. Also fished the Live Oak Lake stocking late yesterday afternoon. Limited out each time! Fished out of the Kayak on Dunlap,Mcqueeney,and Meadow Lakes. Bluegill bite has picked up due to the warm spell. Got some nice ones on Meadow in 14 feet of water on brush piles. Chartreuse/Black Rooster Tail worked good. Crappie bite continues to be good on Mcqueeney. Fish are starting to get into the Pre Spawn patterns according to friends of mine. Fish are on brush piles and ledges in 16 to 20 feet of water. Jigs Chartreuse/Pink and live minnows are working well. Crappie bite on Meadow and Dunlap was slow for me but managed to pick up a few scattered fish on brush piles in 16 feet of water. Also caught some nice Bluegill and Redbreast on Dunlap in 14 to 16 feet of water by docks. There is also plenty of bait fish on all three river lakes.
