Fished 8:30 - 2:30...was worried the water level was still low, but it was back up today. Water temp 67-69 & clear to 3 ft. Saw a Bobcat roaming the bank early. Got 1 catfish, 1 Rio, 4 bass, around 30 various bluegill...small...then around 2:00 decided to try an old spot that was real hot a few years ago for red ear. Wow...what a treat. Got 5 fat girls out of that spot with the two biggest being 1.4 & 1.5 lbs ea. They were 7 - 8 ft deep & kind of under a overhanging pecan branch. To catch these giants u have to fish real S L O W ! Anyway...all released to spawn next spring.

Nice fish and report Vogey. Yes Sir you are 100 percent right. You have to fish slow to get the BIG ONES this time of year! Especially after the several cold fronts that have blown through. We have another coming in tomorrow. thumb
