Tow Package

I ordered a tow package for my midsize SUV. Anyone have experience installing these or can tell me what I am in for?

Where did you buy it from what did it include?

On my older pickup tow package included a oil and transmission cooler. Hopefully it comes with some instructions.

Purchased from Summit Racing. Just a II class hitch and instructions.

As long as it is specific to you vehicle it should be easy. If not I hope you have a good drill and some sharp bits. Goes best with 2 people but I have installed one by myself.

Yes I researched and it's for my vehicle so we should be good there.

You bought a receiver hitch. Piece of cake to install... depending on what you putting it on, the ones for unibody cars are not as easy/friendly as the ones for body on frame cars.

You will need a torque wrench, but with instructions should be pretty straight forward.

Buy and install an auxiliary transmission fluid cooler and you'll be all set.

should be easy, installed millions of them when I worked for dodge.
