RV Labor $$ - 05/24/20 10:27 PM

One company in Dickinson charges $135.00 an hr. Is this a standard figure in Texas?

There is no standard rate anymore...it goes by zip code in labor guides becuase they look at cost of houses and what the income is in the zip code. And every shop sets there own labor rate and parts prices anyways so they all can be diffrent, some dont go buy the zip code labor rate.

Our guy is $75 for service call, and $90 an hour. But we have a bunch of us RV owners that use one service so we
get some pretty good deals sometimes.

Holiday world charges 199.00 per hour and they do shoty work and will keep your trailer for months, took them 3 month to do a repair that was done in one day

There really is no standard rate in TX, they pretty much charge what they want and there is no shortage of people willing to pay. My brother works for one of the major dealers in DFW in the service department and also has his own side business for RV repair. He has to take his magnetic signs off his truck if he is not ready for a job because people are flagging him down at red lights and hitting it up at the gas stations wanting him to come look at their rig.
